Friday 9th March 2018 - Prof David Bindman, who has recently published a study of Canova, a friend of Flaxman and the Europe’s most celebrated artist towards the end of the 18th Century, will speak on the subject.
Friday 6th April 2018- Our AGM - A.G.M followed by a talk by our Chairman Peter Fisher about Romney’s interest in Mary Queen of Scots, an iconic and tragic figure in Georgian England. There is no charge for this meeting.
Friday 11th May - Dr Xavier Bray, the Director of the Wallace Collection who was responsible for the National Gallery’s Goya Exhibition will speak on this theme.
